The Legends Story

Two brothers from Northern Ontario — first-generation Canadians with proud Italian roots — Nearly half century ago moved to Ottawa to take the city by storm. With over 40 years in the hair industry and over half a dozen locations in the city, our family has grown right alongside the business.

Fernando is so friendly and accommodating- he really goes out of his way to make it a nice experience. Alex is a great barber too, and always gives me exactly what I’m looking for. I’m so glad they only moved across the street, though I would have followed them wherever they went.

Huge fan of this place, I consistently get good hair cuts here. Everyone who works here is amazing so you can rest easy. The last two times I’ve had Lucey cut my hair and they were the best hair cuts I’ve got in my life, super happy with them. This barbershop is always very clean, staff really seems to take pride in their workplace. There is free coffee and espresso if you are waiting, and they also have a lot of seemingly good hair care merchandise. I’ve only gotten my haircut with Alex and he’s somehow very detail oriented and quick. They also take appointments which is nice. Some places don’t for some reason and you obviously don’t know how long you’re going to have to wait.

I had an appointment today and my haircut is looking clean and sharp. However, because of the pandemic, I’m not carrying physical money on me anymore and there was no way for me to tip with my visa. Why? I went to the bank to to tip her and the line was insane. It shouldn’t come to this, gave your machines have a tipping option!

I’ve been going to Dev in Westboro for around 2 years now and have never been disappointed. A very good conversationalist, he makes you feel like you’re catching up with an old friend. The prices are very fair for the service this guy will give you. Need a coffee after a long day while you’re getting a cut for that first date? He’s got you. He’s got you. As long as I’m around Dev will be cutting my hair.
